Jr. NBA Philippines presented by Alaska returns to the Philippines for the eleventh consecutive year in 2018. Jr. NBA 2018 presented by Alaska tips off in Manila, and moves to Baguio, Cebu and Davao City to reach more schools and communities nationwide. Basketball coaches also have the opportunity to join free coaching clinics in these four cities and participate in the Coach of the Year awards. The leading youth basketball program is free and open to players aged 10 to 14 years old. Jr. NBA Philippines presented by Alaska is composed of four stages: coaches and players clinics from January to February, Regional Selection Camps from February to March, the National Training Camp in April and the Jr. NBA experience trip later in the year. Since the program was first introduced in the Philippines in 2007, it has expanded from 16 schools to more than 500 schools and communities, over 10,000 participants and reached over 100,000 students, parents, and coaches across the country in 2015.Participants: Players born between 2004 and 2008 (Age 10-14) are eligible to participate in Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 Regional Selection Camps for a chance to be selected as a Jr. NBA Philippines All-Star.
