No. The Open Clinics are designed to teach basketball fundamentals to any participant as the coaches can tweak the difficulty of any of the drills based on a participant’s current skill level. Participants of the Regional Training Programme will go through a set of different Jr. NBA Skills and Drills that measure different basketball fundamentals such as shooting, footwork, passing, layups, and ball handling. This is a good way for the participants to benchmark their current skill level and find out areas where they can improve their basketball skills.
Jr. NBA uniforms are not available for sale. In select countries, limited number of uniforms are given out free of charge to participants of the program. Please come prepared in proper basketball clinic attire or at the minimum: comfy shirt, athletic shorts, socks and rubber shoes. Girls wearing jersey tops should also wear inner shirts during the activities.
Food and water will NOT be provided to the participants. Please make sure to eat a healthy meal prior to coming and be prepared with your own snacks and water during the Jr. NBA clinics.
